Portrait Master

Famous Canadian- Chinese oil painting artist Ivy Chaung has devoted herself diligently and conscientiously to oil painting for over half a century. Before her overseas adventure, she was graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China with a major in Oil Painting, and then she became a teacher in the same school, teaching oil paintings for years. In the 70’s, she was an Art Journalist as well as an Editor for a newspaper company.

As a member of the US Oil Painter Association, a member of the California Artist Union, and a member of the Canadian Artist Union, Ivy’s life-long oil painting creations has made her particularly skilled at portraits, still life, and landscapes. She has outstanding achievement in all those area, and her artistic skills with her interpretation of the human expression have evolved into her own unique portrait painting style. She is especially well known and famous for her portraits, many famous people and political figures have had invited her to paint their portraits. Below are some of the examples:
